October Workshop - Monthly Series
Going Home Without Losing Yourself
Boundaries, Family Roles & Old Patterns During the Holidays
“The holidays can bring us back into roles we thought we had outgrown. This workshop is about staying connected without abandoning yourself.”
What will we cover?
This workshop explores why old family roles and patterns can show up so strongly during the holidays and how to stay connected to yourself when they do. We’ll talk about boundaries, guilt, family expectations, difficult conversations, and practical ways to stay grounded instead of automatically falling back into old roles.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for adults who find themselves feeling stressed, guilty, overwhelmed, or pulled back into old versions of themselves around family. It may be especially helpful if you struggle with people pleasing, setting boundaries, managing family expectations, or feeling responsible for keeping everyone happy.
What will I leave with?
You’ll leave with a better understanding of your own family patterns, tools for setting and maintaining boundaries, strategies for responding rather than reacting, and practical ways to stay connected to yourself throughout the holiday season.
Do I have to participate or share?
No. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as feels comfortable. There will be opportunities for reflection and discussion, but you will never be required to share personal experiences.
Is this therapy?
No. This is an educational workshop and is not a substitute for individual or group psychotherapy. You’ll learn therapeutic concepts and practical tools, but you do not need to be a current therapy client to attend.

The workshop will be held virtually on Zoom. Registered participants will receive the Zoom information and workshop materials before the event.
